NewYork: Georgina Rodriguez, fiancée of global football superstar and Portugal legend Cristiano Ronaldo, has revealed intimate details about their engagement. After being together for nearly ten years, the couple officially announced their engagement in August.
The 31-year-old Georgina shared a photo of her engagement ring on Instagram, a stunning diamond piece reportedly valued at around $3 million. She captioned the post, “Yes, I do, in this life and every life.”
In an interview with Spanish magazine ELLE Spain, Georgina described the engagement ring as completely unexpected. She said, “It’s absolutely beautiful. After ten years of waiting, at least that much they could offer me. Honestly, when he proposed, the ring was the last thing on my mind.”
She added that she was amazed by the size of the diamonds and could not immediately grasp its value. “I was so surprised that I put the ring in my room and only the next day went out in the sunlight to really look at it,” she shared.
Talking about their love, Georgina expressed that their connection went far beyond physical attraction. “I can’t say I saw my future or knew that ten years later we would have five children, but I certainly felt an indescribable emotion,” she said. She further explained, “It felt as if our souls were speaking to each other even before our eyes met. Something within me recognized something in him, and at that moment I knew this relationship was completely different and unique.”
Sources revealed that Ronaldo also gifted Georgina a white electric Porsche Taycan and a luxury Audemars Piguet watch for the engagement, with the total cost of the gifts estimated at around £270,000.
According to media reports, Cristiano Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez are expected to marry in 2026, following the FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. This event could potentially mark Ronaldo’s final major international tournament with Portugal’s national team.
