Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court Grants Bail to 153 PTI Workers in Protest Cases

Islamabad:The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Islamabad has delivered its verdict on the bail applications of 177 Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers in connection with the protests held on November 26.

The ATC granted bail to 153 PTI workers, while it rejected the bail applications of 24 others.

In the case related to the Karachi Company Police Station, out of 48 accused individuals, 43 were granted bail, while the applications of 5 were rejected. In the case related to Tarnol Police Station, bail was granted to 2 out of 7 accused, while the remaining 5 bail applications were dismissed. Similarly, in the case linked to I-9 Police Station, 9 out of 10 accused were granted bail, and 1 bail application was rejected.

The court also approved the bail of 28 accused individuals in the Kohsar Police Station case, while the bail applications of 5 were dismissed. In the case involving Ramna Police Station, bail was granted to 3 out of 8 accused, while the applications of the remaining 5 were rejected.

In the case related to Secretariat Police Station, the court approved the bail of all 25 accused individuals, while in the case involving Margalla Police Station, 42 out of 45 accused were granted bail, and 3 bail applications were rejected.

The court set the bail amount for all the accused at 5,000 Pakistani rupees in surety bonds.
