Kota,Rajasthan,India:In a heart-wrenching turn of events in the city of Kota, Rajasthan, an Indian government official, who had taken early retirement to care for his ailing wife, tragically lost her on the very day of his retirement ceremony.

The officer, who had some time left in his tenure, had applied for early retirement to look after his wife, who had been suffering from a serious illness. His request was approved, and the retirement ceremony was set for the day. A video from the ceremony, which has gone viral on social media, captures the emotional moment when the couple, along with other colleagues, were receiving flowers and good wishes.

As the ceremony proceeded, the wife began to feel unwell. In the video, she can be heard saying, “I feel dizzy,” and she grabs the table and her husband’s arm for support. In a frantic voice, attendees can be heard calling for water. Moments later, the woman collapses and loses consciousness during the event.
