First Wife Crashes Husband’s Second Marriage Ceremony in India

**Mumbai:** In a dramatic turn of events in **Basti district, Uttar Pradesh, India**, a man’s **second marriage ceremony was interrupted by his first wife**, sparking chaos at the venue.

According to Indian media reports, **Vine Anand Sharma** was celebrating his second marriage when his first wife, **Reshma**, along with her family, stormed the stage. Reshma accused Vine of marrying again despite him still being legally her husband. She showed wedding guests photographs from their own marriage and alleged that Vine had withdrawn a large sum of money from her account and even financed a car in her name.

The couple had **married in a court ceremony in 2022**, followed by a formal wedding event with both families present. However, differences emerged shortly after, and a divorce case was filed. The legal process for the divorce is still ongoing, meaning Vine and Reshma remain legally married.

Vine had recently returned to his village, where preparations for his second marriage were underway by his family. Unaware that Reshma had learned of the wedding, he arrived with his family and groom’s party, only for the first wife to intervene and halt the ceremony.
