Pakistan Exposes India’s “Dark Face and Malicious Agenda” at UN General Assembly

New York – In a forceful response during the United Nations General Assembly, Pakistan exposed what it described as India’s “dark face” and “malicious ambitions,” accusing New Delhi of state-sponsored oppression and regional destabilization under the BJP-RSS regime.
Delivering a strong rebuttal to the Indian delegate’s remarks, Pakistan’s Second Secretary Rabiya Ijaz stated, “I am compelled to respond to the Indian representative’s remarks — a classic case where the oppressor claims to be the victim.”
She highlighted that the Indian state apparatus has normalized hatred, mob violence, and institutionalized discrimination against its own citizens and the people of occupied territories. “Such a regime has no moral justification to invoke the principle of the ‘Responsibility to Protect’ (R2P),” she said.
Ijaz emphasized that India under BJP-RSS rule has transformed into a “majoritarian dictatorship” where minorities including Muslims, Christians, and Dalits live under constant fear and suppression. “Lynching goes unpunished, bulldozers are used as tools of collective punishment, mosques are demolished, and citizenship is denied on religious grounds,” she added.
Rejecting India’s claim over Jammu and Kashmir, the Pakistani diplomat stated that the region is a disputed territory recognized as such by the United Nations. She referenced UN Security Council Resolutions 47 (1948), 91 (1951), and 122 (1957), which affirm the Kashmiri people’s right to determine their future through a free and impartial plebiscite.
“India’s assertion that Jammu and Kashmir is an integral part or internal matter is legally and politically false,” Ijaz asserted. “India accepted these resolutions and is bound by Article 25 of the UN Charter to implement them.”
Rabiya Ijaz further accused India of committing cross-border aggression by launching deliberate, unprovoked attacks on Pakistani civilian areas on May 6 and 7, 2025, killing 35 innocent people. She highlighted the killing of 15 Pakistani children in recent months and called it a “massacre,” not a military confrontation — a clear violation of international humanitarian law and the UN Charter.
She also reiterated Pakistan’s demand that these atrocities be included in all relevant UN reports.
Ijaz pointed out India’s alleged state-sponsored terrorism, citing incidents such as the 2014 Army Public School massacre and the recent attack on a school bus in Khuzdar, claiming evidence links Indian intelligence agencies to such actions. She also referred to India’s support for TTP and BLA as part of a covert war against Pakistan, citing admissions by former Indian officials.
“The principle of ‘Responsibility to Protect’ should not be a slogan for states that are themselves the perpetrators of mass oppression,” she said. “If the international community is truly committed to this principle, it must begin by protecting vulnerable populations from oppressive regimes — including India.”
Concluding her statement, the Pakistani diplomat urged the global community to avoid double standards, blind spots, and exceptionalism in the application of international norms.
