Teen Steals School Bus to Drop Girlfriend, Sparks Police Investigation in Germany

Wiesbaden: In a bizarre incident, a 15-year-old boy in Germany allegedly stole a school bus to drop his girlfriend to school in another city, leaving both authorities and the public astonished.
According to reports, the incident took place in the city of Wiesbaden, where the teenager secretly entered a bus depot and managed to gain access to a master key. He then drove off with the bus without raising immediate suspicion, as staff initially assumed it was part of routine operations.
The bus reportedly left the depot around 6:00 a.m., but the transport company became concerned later in the day when none of the drivers claimed responsibility for taking the vehicle. Police were subsequently alerted, and a search operation was launched.
Using the bus’s GPS tracking system, authorities located the vehicle in Karlshorst, approximately 130 kilometers (80 miles) away from Wiesbaden. Officers were surprised to find the underage boy behind the wheel, returning after picking up his girlfriend from school.
Police officials said it remains unclear how the teenager obtained the master key or where he learned to drive a bus so skillfully. An investigation is ongoing, and the boy could face multiple charges, including theft and driving without a license.
