Balochistan Health Department Accused of Malpractices in Khuzdar: Alleged Unlawful Appointments to Local Hospital Posts
Khuzdar:Allegations of corruption and irregularities have emerged in the Health Department of Balochistan, particularly concerning the appointment of two non-local individuals to regular posts at the BHE (Balochistan Health Establishment) in Goni Garisha. According to local sources, **Kaleem Ullah**, a **Chowkidar (Guard)**, and **Ghulam Mustafa**, a **Nursing Orderly**, are currently holding positions at the hospital, despite neither of them being local to the area. The posts they occupy were reportedly obtained with the alleged assistance of departmental insiders.
Sources suggest that the hospital staff is unaware of the two employees, and no attendance reports have been filed in their names. **Riaz Taj Sajada**, Chairman of the Union Council Goni Garisha, confirmed these allegations and stated that the local community has repeatedly raised concerns. According to Taj Sajada, the Union Council filed a formal complaint with the **Deputy Commissioner of Khuzdar**, but no action has been taken thus far.
Taj Sajada further warned that if these employees are not transferred out of the area, the local community will be forced to take drastic measures. He stated, “If these employees are not transferred from Goni Garisha, we will lock down the hospital and will also boycott the upcoming **Polio Campaign** scheduled for December 30. Furthermore, the **CPEC Highway** will be blocked indefinitely, and the responsibility for these actions will fall squarely on the **District Health Officer (DHO)** of Khuzdar and other relevant officials.”
The issue has sparked outrage among local residents, and tensions are rising as authorities face pressure to address the allegations and resolve the matter swiftly.
