PM Shehbaz Sharif Condemns Terrorist Attack Attempt in South Waziristan, Pays Tribute to Martyred Soldiers
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the attempted terrorist attack by the Khawarij extremists on a security checkpoint in the Makin area of South Waziristan. He expressed deep admiration for the bravery of the 16 security personnel who embraced martyrdom while valiantly resisting the attack.
In a press release issued by the Pakistan Information Department (PID), the Prime Minister offered prayers for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks and expressed condolences to their families. He praised the security forces for eliminating 8 of the Khawarij terrorists and said, “Our security forces stand as a strong wall against terrorists, ensuring the safety of our nation. The entire nation salutes the martyrs, and we are committed to eradicating all forms of terrorism from the country.”
President Asif Ali Zardari also expressed profound grief over the martyrdom of the 16 brave soldiers in the terrorist attack. He paid tribute to the martyred soldiers and extended his condolences and prayers for patience to their families.
The President reaffirmed the commitment to continuing operations against the Khawarij extremists until their complete eradication. He stated, “The entire nation stands with our armed forces in the war against terrorism. Terrorists are enemies of the country, nation, and humanity. We will continue our operations until the complete elimination of this scourge.”
