Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif Condemns Attacks on Iran in Call with Turkish President Erdogan, Expresses Concern Over Middle East Crisis

**Islamabad:** Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan held a telephone conversation during which they condemned the recent Israeli attacks on Iran and expressed deep concern over the escalating crisis in the Middle East.

According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, Shahbaz Sharif informed President Erdogan about his recent contacts with Gulf leaders, reaffirming Pakistan’s solidarity and readiness to play a constructive role in resolving the crisis. Both leaders emphasized the need for maximum restraint by all parties to avoid further escalation.

The Prime Minister also briefed President Erdogan on recent developments in Afghanistan, and the two leaders agreed to maintain close and continuous coordination to promote peace and stability in the region.
