Pirs Pagara Pays Tribute to the People of Balochistan at a Ceremony in Chhatar
Chhatar:Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) leader and spiritual leader, Pir Pagara Sain Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi, was honored with a grand luncheon hosted by the Provincial President of PML-F Balochistan, Mir Musharraf Ali Khan Khosha, in Chhatar. The event was attended by many prominent and respected figures from the region.
In his address during the ceremony, Pir Pagara Sain Syed Sibghatullah Shah Rashdi expressed his deep concern and sorrow over the dire situation of the people in Balochistan. He remarked that during his visit to Balochistan, he was greatly saddened to witness the conditions in which the people of the province are living, especially in the modern era. He highlighted the severe deprivation faced by the people of Balochistan, stressing that the state of affairs in the province was deteriorating despite being in the present era.
Pir Pagara noted that politics or employment is often pursued for dignity and respect, but in Balochistan, people are denied justice and respect, leading many to take wrong paths. He urged the federal government to allocate more funding for developmental projects in Balochistan, emphasizing that this is essential to eliminate the province’s backwardness. He pointed out that educated youth in Balochistan are unable to find jobs, with opportunities often sold to the highest bidder, and the merit-based system is non-existent. He warned that if this situation continues, the country’s conditions will worsen instead of improving.
Addressing the issue of employment, Pir Pagara said that the poor in Balochistan are forced to send their children to school under difficult circumstances, but still cannot access jobs unless they have connections or money. He lamented that the justice system is flawed, with cases dragging on for generations without resolution, leaving the people disillusioned. He emphasized that justice must be delivered effectively to restore the public’s faith in the system.
Pir Pagara also criticized the political elite, stating that those in power are unaware of the hardships faced by the people of the country. He said that once people leave their positions of power, they become irrelevant and are left to hide their faces, as they no longer have a place to belong either within the country or abroad. He remarked that if those in power fulfill their duties and deliver justice while in office, they would be respected even after leaving their positions.
He concluded his speech by urging the federal government to take immediate and practical steps to improve the situation in Balochistan, as the development of the country is closely tied to the development of Balochistan. Pir Pagara Sain also honored Mir Musharraf Ali Khan Khosha with the honorary title of “General,” thanking him for his efforts and wishing him success in his endeavors. He ended by praying for the people of Balochistan, hoping that Allah would change their circumstances and bring them into the ranks of the developed.
The ceremony was marked by a sense of solidarity and the shared vision of improving the lives of the people of Balochistan, with hopes for a brighter future for the province.
