Mumbai: Allu Arjun’s ‘Pushpa 2’ Breaks Records as India’s Highest-Grossing Film

Mumbai:Allu Arjun’s much-anticipated film *Pushpa 2* has set a new benchmark in the Indian film industry, becoming the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Released on December 5, the film has amassed an astounding ₹1414 crore (₹14.14 billion) at the global box office in just 12 days, creating an unprecedented record.

*Pushpa 2* has not only made history within the South Indian film industry but has also carved a significant place in the list of India’s highest-grossing films. Within just 11 days, the film grossed ₹900 crore in India alone. On the international front, it has earned a remarkable $166.8 million (₹1414 crore). According to conservative estimates, the film has earned around $29.21 million, with $1.6 million (₹13.57 crore) coming from the US market alone. Its North American earnings have reached $12.5 million.

The Hindi version of the film has outperformed the Telugu version, especially during the second weekend, benefitting from lower ticket prices which further boosted its popularity. Directed by Sukumar, *Pushpa 2* has now become the highest-grossing film of 2024, and its Hindi version has secured the position of the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.

With its continued success, *Pushpa 2* shows no signs of slowing down, further solidifying Allu Arjun’s stardom and setting new records in global cinema.
