Tragic Start for ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ as Fans Clash in Hyderabad, One Dead and Child Injured

Hyderabad: The highly anticipated release of Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring South Indian superstar Allu Arjun, took a tragic turn as a crowd frenzy led to a fatal accident during a screening event in Hyderabad.
According to Indian media reports, a massive crowd had gathered outside a theater on Wednesday evening, hoping to catch a glimpse of Allu Arjun. The situation quickly escalated into chaos when the actor arrived, causing a stampede. The police confirmed that the central door of the theater collapsed due to the overwhelming crowd.
In the chaos, a 35-year-old woman lost her life, while her 9-year-old son was severely injured. The child is currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital. Authorities were forced to use baton charges to disperse the crowd, which further agitated the fans. Additional police forces were called in to restore order.
Reports also revealed that thousands of people had gathered at the theater, eager to see the film and its star cast. Meanwhile, ticket prices for the film in major cinemas of Mumbai and Delhi have been reported to exceed INR 2500, adding to the frenzy surrounding the release.
The incident has left fans and authorities concerned as the excitement for Pushpa 2 continues to grow.
