UAE Introduces New Visa Requirement for Pakistani Job Seekers
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced a new requirement for Pakistani nationals applying for employment visas. As per the new rule, individuals seeking jobs in the UAE will now be required to submit a Character Certificate from the police to verify their conduct.
According to Pakistan’s Bureau of Immigration, this measure aims to ensure the integrity and good standing of applicants before they are granted employment visas. The move has been hailed as a positive step by the Overseas Employment Association of Pakistan, who believe it will help prevent complaints and enhance trust between the two countries.
In addition, media reports indicate that the UAE has already imposed a ban on tourist visas from 30 cities in Pakistan due to ongoing concerns and complaints.
This new policy serves as a reminder to those wishing to travel to the UAE for employment to ensure that all necessary documentation, including the police clearance certificate, is in order before making travel arrangements.
