Islamabad: CIA Building in I-9 Declared Sub-Jail

Islamabad: The Islamabad administration has declared the CIA building in I-9 as a sub-jail. The Chief Commissioner of Islamabad has issued an official notification regarding this decision.
The building has been designated as a sub-jail under Section 3 of the Prisoners Act, 1894. The notification states that the approval for establishing the sub-jail was granted by the Ministry of Law and Parliamentary Affairs. The decision was made upon the request of the Islamabad administration.
According to the notification, those arrested during recent protests will be held in this newly designated sub-jail.
