Governor of Balochistan Orders Kesco Chief to Ensure Full Voltage Power Supply in Zhob Division

Quetta:The Governor of Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhel, has instructed the Chief of K-Electric Supply Company (KESCO) to ensure a consistent and full-voltage power supply to all electricity consumers in the Zhob Division. He also directed that the practice of unannounced load shedding be halted immediately, as it has caused significant inconvenience to even regular, bill-paying consumers.

In a meeting with the CEO of KESCO, Governor Mandokhel emphasized the need for WAPDA officials to improve their office procedures and ensure proper treatment of all consumers. He expressed concern over the rising dissatisfaction among the public due to ongoing power issues.

The KESCO Chief assured the Governor that, in line with his directives, steps would be taken to increase the production capacity of the Zhob Grid Station. Additionally, a new, larger transformer would be installed to further enhance power supply to the region.

The Governor also stressed the importance of maintaining high standards of customer service and addressing consumer complaints effectively. He highlighted the need for uninterrupted electricity supply to essential services, including health and education institutions, as well as government offices, particularly during working hours, to ensure smooth functioning of these critical sectors.
