Color-Coded Paths Introduced at Prophet’s Mosque to Guide Worshippers
Saudi Arabia: The Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah has introduced color-coded pathways to help guide visitors navigating its entrances and exits. This initiative is aimed at enhancing the flow of worshippers and ensuring they can easily find their way to and from the mosque.
According to Arab media reports, the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques has implemented a system of colored markings along the internal and external routes of the mosque. These color distinctions are intended to help visitors—especially international pilgrims—navigate their way more efficiently. The designated paths will make it easier for worshippers to exit through the correct door and reach their accommodations with minimal confusion.
Additionally, a new childcare center has been established within the mosque complex to assist parents with young children. The facility operates from 5:00 AM to 11:00 PM under the supervision of trained professionals, allowing parents to pray and worship without concern for their children’s safety.
Last year, over 280 million Muslims had the privilege of praying at the Prophet’s Mosque, and this year, more than 10 million pilgrims have already visited, marking a 26% increase over the previous year.
