Clifton Police and CTD Encounter Leaves 4 Robbers Dead

Karachi: Four robbers were killed in a reported encounter between the police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the Clifton area of Karachi. According to Chhipa authorities, the bodies of the deceased were transferred to Jinnah Hospital. The police have identified the robbers as Abdul Sattar, Seri Chan, Raj Kumar, and Nawab Ahmed Solangi.
DIG Asad Raza stated that the deceased criminals were involved in the murder of a security guard, Saeed, two weeks ago in Defence Phase 5, during a robbery where they stole five lakh rupees before fleeing the scene.
Police also recovered four pistols, ammunition, and two motorcycles from the possession of the deceased robbers. DIG Raza further announced that the police team involved in the operation, along with the SHO of Clifton, would be rewarded with CC-2 medals for their efforts.
Authorities have confirmed that the slain criminals were involved in multiple robberies and highway heists, and investigations are ongoing to determine their possible links to terrorist activities.
