Government Has Failed and Will Not Last Long; People Await Call to Come to the Streets: Hafiz Hamdullah

LORALAI – JUI central leader and former Senator Hafiz Hamdullah, addressing a Khatm-e-Nubuwwat gathering at the Central Jamia Mosque, has said that Khatm-e-Nubuwwat is our faith and the Qadiani sect is outside Islam. “We will tolerate everything, but we will not compromise on Khatm-e-Nubuwwat. Our 1973 Constitution is the protector of Islam. Muslims should be wary of the tactics of the Qadiani sect and completely boycott their products.”

He said they are grateful to Maulana Mufti Mahmood, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and other elders of that time whose struggle and efforts led to the Qadiani sect being declared non-Muslim. He said religious seminaries are fortresses of Islam and are defense institutions of Islam; wherever international colonialism attacks Islam, these institutions will fully confront it. He said some external and internal forces are at war against these institutions, but with JUI present, they cannot succeed in their nefarious intentions in any way.

He said their party opposes every unconstitutional step and they oppose the emergency and governor rule imposed by the center in KP. The country is facing a dangerous situation; political parties and the fake government should sit at one table so that some solution to the problems can be found through a political approach. “We will not accept the establishment’s interference in political matters. Doing politics is the job of political leaders. Implementing the constitution is the responsibility of every institution and political party; through its violation, the country’s roots are being weakened. Our leader Maulana Fazlur Rahman is currently fully confronting the attacks being made on Islam from all sides. He is today a national leader across the country and at the international level, which all parties including PTI, Muslim League (N), PPP, and ANP have recognized. Without him, neither the government can run nor the parliament.”

He said the opposition needs to unite and launch a movement together against the fake election of February 8, 2024. “We started our movement immediately after the election. The current government came into existence through a fake mandate, which we are not ready to accept in any way.”

He said the door to dialogue in politics is not closed. “The government has failed and will not last long. The people are waiting for Maulana Fazlur Rahman’s call to come to the streets. With this government in place, the country will remain embroiled in political crisis and will suffer unemployment, unrest, instability, and terrorism. We demand that individuals and officers holding key positions in some institutions of the country, including the UN, be removed.” On this occasion, Qari Mumtaz, Maulana Ramzan, and others also addressed the gathering.
