Terrorist Attack on FC Headquarters Foiled in Quetta: CM Sarfraz Bugti
Quetta: Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti has praised the security forces for thwarting a major terrorist attack on the Frontier Corps (FC) headquarters in Quetta, crediting their timely and effective response.
Speaking at an event at Government Girls College Quetta Cantt following the recent terror incident, the Chief Minister strongly condemned the blast, stating that security personnel killed four terrorists on the spot. *“These cowardly acts cannot break the nation’s resolve,”* he asserted.
Bugti emphasized that the sacrifices of the people and security forces would never go in vain, reaffirming his commitment to making Balochistan a peaceful and secure province. He also revealed that a full-scale operation against terrorists was underway in the **Zehri area**, with militants under heavy pressure.
Addressing students, the Chief Minister warned that hostile elements were attempting to mislead youth through negative propaganda on social media. He urged them to counter such narratives through education and to play an active role in exposing anti-Pakistan agendas.
Bugti expressed solidarity with the families of martyrs, prayed for the elevation of their ranks, and extended best wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured.
