Won’t Discuss Administrative Units Without Founder’s Input,” Says Salman Akram Raja
SANGHAR – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Secretary General Salman Akram Raja has declared that his party will not engage in any process regarding administrative units without first seeking the opinion of the party’s founder, Imran Khan.
In an interview, Raja emphasized that any meaningful dialogue must include the PTI founder. “Include the PTI founder in the talks; then we can have a discussion,” he stated. He reaffirmed the party’s commitment to the people of Sindh and their rights.
Raja also made it clear that PTI does not recognize the current assemblies—referring to them as the product of “Form 47″—nor does it accept the 26th and 27th Constitutional Amendments. He argued that these assemblies have no authority to pass constitutional amendments.
“Hold transparent elections and bring the true representatives of the people into the assembly; then we can talk,” he asserted.
When asked about Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s recent statement that administrative units will be established, Raja responded firmly: “We will not be part of this process until the founder of PTI gives his opinion.”
