Public Service Is PPP’s Top Priority, Says Provincial Minister Ali Madad Jattak

Quetta — Pakistan Peoples Party leader and provincial minister Haji Ali Madad Jattak has said serving the public and resolving people’s problems is the PPP’s foremost priority, and that all available resources are being used for that purpose.
Speaking to residents during an open katchery at his residence, Jattak House in Asifabad, on Friday, he said officers of the relevant departments had already been directed to address the issues raised by the public. A large number of local people attended and presented their complaints.
Jattak listened to the grievances and issued instructions for immediate relief. He said hearing people’s problems at their doorstep was true public representation, and that negligence or delay in resolving those problems would not be tolerated.
Participants appreciated the open katchery and said such steps strengthened the link between the public and elected representatives.
Jattak said the PPP was a party of the poor and middle class and had always tried to solve people’s problems. The present coalition government in the province, he added, was taking all possible steps to provide basic facilities, and any lapse in following up on issues identified in the katchery would not be accepted.
