Balochistan’s Real Problem Stems From Hate-Filled Narratives, Says Farah Azim Shah

QUETTA: Balochistan Assembly member Farah Azim Shah has criticized Provincial Minister Sadiq Umarani’s speech, saying that hate-filled narratives are among the reasons behind the problems facing Balochistan.

Speaking during the discussion on a resolution against Sadiq Umarani’s remarks in the Balochistan Assembly, Farah Azim Shah said the resolution had not been presented on behalf of just a few individuals but represented the sentiments of the respectable people of the entire province.

She stressed that Balochistan’s problems were fueled by such hate-filled narratives and called on the provincial minister to immediately apologize for his irresponsible remarks.

Farah Azim Shah said responsible statements were essential to maintaining respect, unity and harmony in the province.
