Balochistan Police Prioritize Sports Promotion and Discipline, IG Mohammad Tahir Attends Cricket Match at Training College

**Quetta:** Inspector General of Police Balochistan, Mohammad Tahir, has emphasized that the promotion of sports and the provision of full facilities to athletes are among the top priorities of the Balochistan Police, as vibrant sports activities help keep society free from negative influences and ensure that youth remain physically and mentally strong.

He expressed these views while addressing players during a cricket match played between the Commandant PTC staff and under-training personnel at the Police Training College. The IG praised the performance of the players and said that young athletes of the Balochistan Police are making the province and the institution proud by excelling at the national level.

IG Mohammad Tahir noted that sports activities play a vital role in strengthening discipline, tolerance, teamwork, and professional skills within the young police force. During his visit, he also met and encouraged Levies recruits undergoing training who were participating in cricket, football, and volleyball matches, appreciating their enthusiasm and commitment.

The Commandant Staff Team emerged victorious in the finals of the tournaments held on the occasion. The Inspector General attended the cricket match as chief guest and also took part in the game, further boosting the morale and excitement of the trainees. At the conclusion of the event, prizes were distributed among the young players who delivered outstanding performances.
