Armed Men Torch Two Trucks on N-40 Highway in Chagai

CHAGAI: Armed men set up a roadblock near Charsar on the N-40 highway in Chagai district and torched two civilian trucks traveling from Quetta to Dalbandin, according to sources.

The attackers, reportedly riding motorcycles, were said to number between seven and eight. They stopped the trucks after establishing a blockade on the highway and subsequently set them on fire.

The incident occurred near Charsar, approximately 62 kilometers east of Dalbandin, creating an atmosphere of fear and concern in the area.

Following the incident, security forces moved toward the area and initiated security measures to clear the location and prevent any further untoward incidents.

No casualties have been reported so far.
