Pakistan Army Announces New Recruitment Drive for 2026, Online Registration Opens September 1

Rawalpindi: The Pakistan Army has announced new recruitment opportunities under its Recruitment Drive 2026, with online registration scheduled to open on September 1, 2026.

According to the Army’s recruitment advertisement, eligible candidates can register from September 1 to November 23, 2026 through the Pakistan Army’s official recruitment website or by visiting their nearest Army Selection and Recruitment Centre.

The available positions include Junior Commissioned Officer (Naib Khateeb), General Duty Soldier, Technical Soldier, Driver, Military Police, Clerk, Cook and Sanitary Worker.

Educational Requirements

Candidates applying for the Naib Khateeb (JCO) position must have completed Dars-e-Nizami along with FA, FSc or an equivalent qualification.

For the General Duty Soldier position, candidates are required to have passed matriculation. Educational concessions are available for candidates from certain areas and children of martyrs.

Applicants for the Technical Soldier position must have passed matriculation with science with at least a B grade. Higher-educated candidates will be given preference.

For the Cook position, middle pass candidates are eligible, while those with cooking experience will be preferred. Candidates applying for the Sanitary Worker position must be at least primary pass or literate.

Age Requirements

For the Naib Khateeb position, the general age limit is 20 to 28 years. Serving Pakistan Army personnel with one to 16 years of service can apply within the age range of 22 to 35 years.

Candidates applying for the General Duty and Technical Soldier positions must be between 17½ and 23 years of age.

The Pakistan Army has encouraged eligible and interested candidates to complete their registration within the announced period and follow the prescribed recruitment requirements and procedures.
