Crackdown Tightens on Cocaine Network in Karachi, Over 20 Arrested Including Key Associates

Karachi: Law enforcement agencies have intensified a nationwide crackdown on an alleged drug trafficking network linked to a suspect identified as Anmol alias “Pinki,” leading to the arrest of more than 20 individuals across multiple cities.

According to media reports, coordinated raids were carried out in Karachi, Lahore, Kasur, Islamabad, and interior Sindh based on information provided during the investigation.

Authorities said one of the most significant arrests includes a close associate known as “Black Angel” (Kiran) and her husband. Officials claim the network has been operating at a high-profile level and was involved in supplying cocaine to individuals in the entertainment industry.

Investigators further stated that following the arrest of key members, efforts are now underway to identify and take action against actors and influential individuals allegedly linked to the drug supply chain.

Financial probes have also revealed new details about the group’s money trail. Authorities reportedly discovered multiple bank accounts linked to the network, involving transactions worth millions of rupees.

The investigation also indicates that over Rs 8 million may have been transferred to foreign nationals at different times for drug-related transactions, suggesting possible international connections.

Officials say the crackdown will continue as authorities attempt to dismantle the remaining structure of the alleged drug network.
