There Is No Room for Abusive Language in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Traditions; the Culture of Foul Language on Social Media Is Regrettable: Sher Afzal Marwat

ISLAMABAD (Daily Qudrat): PTI Member of Parliament Sher Afzal Khan Marwat has said that the culture of abusive language has never been part of our traditions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Here, differences of opinion were not met with abuses; rather, matters were settled through argument and character. In our traditions, those who used foul language were disliked.
Speaking to the media, he said that whoever calls himself a Muslim should also keep before him the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), good morals and respect for humanity. Today, if you open Twitter (X) or Facebook, abusive language and foul speech are visible everywhere. If anyone disagrees with our performance or stance, they certainly should, but instead of abuses they should speak with arguments — disagreement is your right, foul language is not.
