Five Miners Rescued, One Dead After Coal Mine Collapse in Duki, Balochistan

A rescue operation in Duki District has been successfully completed after a coal mine collapse left six miners trapped underground.
According to the District Inspector of Mines, a landslide occurred inside a coal mine where workers were operating at a depth of around 3,000 feet, trapping all six labourers.
Rescue teams immediately launched an emergency operation following the incident. After nearly 14 hours of continuous efforts, one miner was brought out alive. Additional rescue teams were later called in, and after approximately 20 hours, four more miners were safely evacuated.
Officials confirmed that in the final phase of the operation, the body of the sixth miner was recovered, bringing the rescue mission to a close.
Authorities praised the rescue teams for their efforts, while the incident has once again raised concerns about safety conditions in coal mining operations in the region.
