Organized Political Struggle Essential to Secure Pashtun Rights and End Deprivation: Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party
QUETTA: The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) has said that an organized and politically conscious struggle is essential to secure the national and political rights of the Pashtun people, address their grievances and end their deprivation.
The party made the remarks during a monthly meeting of the Initial Watan Unit affiliated with the Khilji Colony Regional Unit. The meeting was held at the residence of Azam Kakar and chaired by District Senior Assistant Secretary Nida Sangar, while Regional Information Secretary Akram Kakar conducted the proceedings.
The meeting reviewed the unit’s previous organizational activities and discussed upcoming programs in detail. A membership program was also held on the occasion.
Provincial Office Secretary Nida Sangar, Provincial Deputy Secretary Ubaidullah Taukhi, District Deputy Secretary Abdul Ali Achakzai, District Deputy Secretary Gul Shaheen Wardak, Regional Secretary Haji Noorgul Khilji, Regional Senior Assistant Wahid Khan Andar and Hakeem Ghaznavi addressed the gathering.
The speakers said that mobilizing and politically educating the Pashtun population was crucial for achieving their national and political rights and overcoming their deprivation. They urged party workers to further organize and strengthen their political and organizational activities to promote national and democratic politics and highlight public issues.
During the meeting, several individuals belonging to 11 families announced their decision to leave their previous political affiliations and join the Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party.
Among those joining the party were Najeebullah from the Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party, Waheed Khan Kakar and Naeem Kakar from the Mazloom Awami Tehreek, as well as Aminullah, Safiullah, Ishaq, Gul Muhammad Baloch, Muhammad Jan Baloch, Shahnawaz Baloch and Muhammad Ali, along with several other associates.
Participants warmly welcomed the new members, saying that the joining of people from diverse political backgrounds demonstrated public confidence in the PNAP’s national, democratic and pro-people politics.
The speakers urged the new members to follow the party’s organizational discipline, play an active role in the national and democratic struggle, highlight public grievances and use their abilities to politically organize and educate the people.
At the conclusion, participants expressed their resolve to further strengthen organizational activities, expand public outreach and convey the party’s national, democratic and pro-people message to the public.
