Protests Erupt in Pishin and Musakhel Against Inflation, Gas Shortage and Load-Shedding

Pishin/Musakhel: The Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party (Pakhtunkhwa National Awami Party) organized large-scale protest demonstrations in the markets of Pishin and Musakhel against rising fuel prices, severe gas shortages, prolonged power outages, and soaring inflation.
A large number of traders, labourers, students, and members of the public participated in the protests, raising slogans against what they called anti-people policies of the government. The protesters warned that immediate relief must be provided to the public, otherwise the responsibility for any worsening situation would lie with the authorities.
In Pishin, the main rally and protest were led by District Senior Assistant Sardar Faisal Khan Tareen. Central Committee member Syed Fida Agha, Deputy District Secretary Syed Shams Agha, and Dr. Hayat addressed the gathering.
Speakers strongly criticized the government, saying that rising petroleum prices, gas shortages, and unannounced load-shedding have made life unbearable for citizens. They said households are struggling to cook food, businesses are on the verge of collapse, and poor governance has pushed people into severe hardship.
They warned that if immediate reductions in prices and uninterrupted supply of gas and electricity are not ensured, the protest movement would be expanded across the province.
In Musakhel, another organized protest was held, where Pakhtunkhwa NAP Secretary Kark Afghan said that inflation and the lack of basic facilities have left the public economically and mentally distressed. He warned that public patience is wearing thin and urged the government to take immediate practical steps.
At the conclusion of the demonstrations, participants reaffirmed their resolve to continue their struggle for public rights on all democratic and constitutional forums until inflation, load-shedding, and the gas crisis are resolved and fuel prices are reduced.
