Quetta: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has strongly condemned the use of women by banned organizations as tools of violence, stating that such actions not only endanger innocent lives but also undermine societal values, traditions, and the dignity of women.

In his statement, the chief minister said these elements are enemies of humanity and are attempting to destabilize the peaceful and civilized society of Balochistan through malicious activities. He emphasized that the government will take strict action against such groups and will not allow the exploitation or misuse of women under any circumstances.

Bugti reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ensuring the protection, respect, and empowerment of women, adding that all possible measures are being taken to provide them with a safe and dignified environment.

In a post on the social media platform X, he also expressed satisfaction over the successful organization of a unique Ramadan/Eid Women’s Mena Bazaar in Gwadar, calling it a historic step towards promoting women’s social and economic empowerment.

He noted that the active participation of local women and children from Gwadar and surrounding areas reflects the positive impact of providing dignified opportunities to women, enabling them to play an effective role in society.

The chief minister added that such initiatives not only offer recreational opportunities but also serve as a platform for women to showcase their talents and achieve financial independence. He praised the efforts of the Deputy Commissioner Gwadar for organizing the event and promoting healthy, constructive activities for women.

Bugti concluded that empowering women and ensuring equal opportunities remain a top priority of the government, which aims to strengthen social harmony and sustainable development across the province.
