PPP MPA and Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Kumar Panjwani Robbed on National Highway

Nasirabad:Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Member of the Provincial Assembly and Parliamentary Secretary Sanjay Kumar Panjwani was robbed by armed dacoits on Saturday, police said.

According to police, the incident occurred when Sanjay Kumar Panjwani was traveling from Bhagh to Nasirabad. On the Notal National Highway, 10 to 12 armed dacoits stopped vehicles and carried out robberies.

During the incident, the minister for minority affairs was deprived of thousands of rupees in cash and a mobile phone, while official weapons were also snatched from his security guards. Police further stated that the dacoits looted nearly half a dozen other vehicles at the same location before fleeing the scene.

Following the incident, police cordoned off the area and launched a search operation to apprehend the suspects.
