Saudi-Led Coalition Conducts Airstrike on Yemeni Port, Accuses UAE of Supplying Arms to Separatists

**Islamabad:** Saudi Arabia has emphasized that its national security is a “red line” that cannot be compromised, following a limited airstrike by the Saudi-led coalition at the Yemeni port of Mukalla.
The coalition stated that unauthorized ships at Mukalla were offloading weapons and military vehicles intended for the Southern Transitional Council (STC), a separatist group in southern Yemen. Coalition spokesperson Colonel Turki Al-Maliki said the vessels had turned off their tracking systems and entered the port without permission.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed that the kingdom will not tolerate any action threatening its national security and expressed hope that the United Arab Emirates would take necessary measures to preserve relations among Gulf states.
Meanwhile, Yemen’s Saudi-backed Presidential Council accused the UAE of being involved in supplying arms to the STC. Following this, the head of the Presidential Council, Rashad Al-Alimi, announced that all UAE forces present in Yemen must leave the country within 24 hours.
