Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party Condemns Encroachment on Tribal Lands in Samungli and Nohussar

**Quetta:** The Pashtunkhwa National Awami Party (PNAP) has strongly denounced attempts to occupy tribal lands in Samungli and Nohussar, emphasizing that the lands of the Kasi and Buzai tribes are historically, tribally, and constitutionally owned by the local people. The party warned that any forced encroachment is illegal and violates the dignity and fundamental rights of the locals.
In an official statement, PNAP highlighted concerns over the proposed establishment of new security posts near the airbase, despite an existing FC check post in the area. The party criticized these measures, stating that they create fear, intimidation, and a sense of alienation among the local population rather than improving law and order.
PNAP emphasized that security measures should not be used as a pretext for land grabs. The party urged authorities to rely on public trust, consultation, and constitutional procedures instead of coercion, warning that any continuation of harassment or land encroachment would compel them to exercise all democratic rights, including peaceful protests.
The statement concluded with a call for immediate cessation of the unauthorized measures, protection of local communities’ rights, and respect for their lands, honor, and welfare.
