Balochistan Govt Strongly Condemns Terrorist Attack on Police Convoy: Spokesperson Shahid Rind

Quetta: Spokesperson for the Government of Balochistan, Shahid Rind, has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on a police convoy traveling from Kalat to Quetta near the Chotu area, calling it a cowardly act aimed at destabilizing peace in the province.
In a statement, Rind expressed deep sorrow over the martyrdom of Acting DSP Inspector Abdul Razzaq and Constable Raza Muhammad in the attack. He extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families and affirmed the government’s solidarity with them during this difficult time.
He further informed that Constables Taj Muhammad and Khurshid Ahmed were injured in the incident and were promptly given medical assistance. The bodies of the martyrs and the injured personnel were airlifted to Quetta via helicopter.
According to the spokesperson, security forces and police swiftly reached the attack site and launched a search operation after cordoning off the area. He emphasized that the morale of both the people of Balochistan and the security forces remains high and that the nefarious intentions of the enemies will not be allowed to succeed at any cost.
Rind reaffirmed the government’s commitment to bring the perpetrators and their facilitators to justice. He added that the Government of Balochistan is strictly adhering to a zero-tolerance policy against enemies of peace and is utilizing all available resources to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.
