Israeli Media Claims Pakistani Troops May Join International Force in Gaza

Tel Aviv: An Israeli newspaper has claimed that **Pakistani military personnel could be part of an international force** expected to be deployed in Gaza to help stabilize the region after two years of conflict.
According to *The Times of Israel*, Israeli defense officials informed lawmakers that the proposed multinational force — aimed at restoring order in Gaza — might include **troops from Pakistan, Indonesia, and Azerbaijan**.
The Israeli news outlet *Ynet News* reported that during a **closed-door briefing** to the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee last week, officials revealed the potential participation of these three countries.
The report added that **Indonesia has already offered** to contribute troops to the mission, while **Azerbaijan has expressed its willingness** to do so. However, it also noted that there has been **no official confirmation or public statement** from Pakistan regarding any involvement in the Gaza deployment.
Meanwhile, Pakistan’s Information Minister **Attaullah Tarar** stated on Sunday that the matter of Pakistani troop deployment in Gaza would be addressed by the **Foreign Ministry**, suggesting that Islamabad has yet to make an official position known.
