Jamaat-e-Islami Expresses Solidarity with Missing Persons’ Families, Demands Immediate Action from Government

Quetta:Following the approval of the demands made during the *Haqq Do Balochistan* long march, the government has assured that it will take steps for the recovery of missing persons and that a delegation of female ministers will be sent to Islamabad to listen to the pleas of Baloch mothers and sisters. The delegation will also engage in negotiations regarding their demands.

In response, Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman Baloch, the Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami Balochistan and Member of the Provincial Assembly (MPA), along with a high-level delegation from the party, visited the sit-in protest organized by the families of missing persons and political activists. The protest was led by mothers and sisters of the missing individuals. Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman met with Dr. Mah Rang Baloch’s sister, Nadia Baloch, and other protesters, expressing his solidarity with their cause and condemning the atrocities they had faced.

He stated, “The issue of missing persons is a real human rights crisis in Balochistan. This tragedy has left mothers and sisters in anguish, and entire families are suffering. It is one of the most pressing issues facing the people of Balochistan.”

Maulana Hidayat-ur-Rehman further emphasized that Jamaat-e-Islami’s *Haqq Do Balochistan* long march had included the demand for the release of innocent and unrelated individuals, and that those who are criminals should be brought to court with concrete evidence.

“The resolution of Balochistan’s issues remains our priority, and Jamaat-e-Islami’s struggle for justice will continue. We stand firm with the families of the missing persons and will continue to advocate for their rights,” he concluded.

The protest, which has gained widespread attention, calls for immediate action to bring the missing persons back and hold accountable those responsible for their disappearance.
