Indian-Backed Terror Outfit Has No Link to Baloch People, Says Balochistan CM Sarfraz Bugti

QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan, Mir Sarfraz Bugti, has declared that the terror outfit “Fitna-tul-Hindustan” is backed by India’s intelligence agency RAW and has no connection with the Baloch people or the province of Balochistan. He labelled the group as purely terrorist in nature.
Speaking at a high-level press conference in Quetta alongside Provincial Minister for Planning and Development Zahoor Ahmed Buledi and Balochistan Chief Secretary, CM Bugti emphasized that groups supported by India’s RAW are attempting to destabilize peace in Pakistan, particularly in Balochistan, through acts of terrorism.
“India cannot tolerate Pakistan’s growing economy and is resorting to proxy warfare to harm our national security,” Bugti stated. “India has faced defeat in its malicious games, which now stand exposed.”
During the press briefing, misleading reports from Indian media were presented, including fabricated stories related to Karachi Port amid recent Pakistan-India tensions. Audio recordings of Fitna-tul-Hindustan operatives Shanbe and Rehman Gul were also shared with the media, revealing their communication with RAW handlers.
Bugti strongly condemned a recent terrorist attack in Khuzdar that targeted innocent children, stating the perpetrators were acting on instructions from Fitna-tul-Hindustan, funded and directed by RAW. “These terrorists are not representatives of the Baloch people; they are mere tools of RAW,” he asserted.
He clarified that the Baloch community holds its own honorable traditions and does not endorse such cowardly acts. “They are not targeting Punjabis — they are targeting Pakistanis. These actions are against the entire nation,” he added.
The Chief Minister also dismissed narratives around enforced disappearances, calling them propaganda. “The number of self-disappearances is higher than alleged forced ones, and those lists are actually maintained by the BLA (Balochistan Liberation Army),” he claimed.
He ruled out the need for a major military operation in Balochistan, saying the state’s approach is based on effective strategy and political dialogue. “Dialogue is always ongoing, but anyone who takes up arms against the state will be dealt with accordingly,” he said.
Concluding his address, CM Bugti affirmed that the state will continue to foil every attack by Fitna-tul-Hindustan and will not allow any conspiracy against Pakistan’s peace and progress to succeed.
