Iran Is in Economic and Military State of War, Says President Masoud Pezeshkian

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said that Iran is currently in a state of war both economically and militarily, but the country remains firmly standing in the face of its challenges.

Pezeshkian said Iran was continuing to make every possible effort to serve its people despite what he described as unlawful wartime conditions.

The Iranian president claimed that the enemy had planned to turn Iran into another Venezuela, but the plan had failed. He said the united position of the Iranian people, who were facing the hardships of war, had helped pave the way for reaching a memorandum of understanding.

According to Pezeshkian, experts have described the memorandum as being based on prudence, dignity and wisdom.

He further said that those opposing the agreement did not fully understand the situation or the issues involved.
