NCCIA Raids Call Center in Islamabad, Seizes Digital Devices

ISLAMABAD:The National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has raided a call center in Islamabad’s Sector G-8 and seized several digital devices and other equipment.

According to the NCCIA, foreign and Pakistani individuals allegedly involved in cybercrime fled the premises during the raid.

The agency said the seized digital devices and other material have been sent for forensic examination.

The NCCIA further stated that the call center was allegedly being used to operate an organized cybercrime and digital fraud network.

Further action will be taken based on the findings of the forensic examination and investigation.
