No-Confidence Vote Against AJK Prime Minister Today

Muzaffarabad: A crucial session of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly will be held today at 3 pm to conduct voting on the no-confidence motion against AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq.
The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has claimed the support of more than 35 members in favor of its nominee, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, for the office of Prime Minister.
If the no-confidence motion succeeds, Faisal Mumtaz Rathore will become the 16th Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir and the fourth to hold the office in the current assembly.
According to sources, a simple majority of 27 votes is required for the motion to pass.
