PPP’s Asfandyar Khuhro Wins PS-30 Khairpur By-Election by Landslide

KHAIRPUR:Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate Asfandyar Khuhro has won the PS-30 Khairpur by-election by a wide margin.
Polling for the constituency was held on Sunday from 8am to 5pm, with 164 polling stations established across the constituency.
According to the unofficial and unverified results from all 164 polling stations, Asfandyar Khuhro secured **48,986 votes**, while independent candidate Tasawwur Mehdi Shah finished second with **1,299 votes**.
The returning officer has also issued Form 47 for the by-election.
The voter turnout remained low at **20.53 per cent**.
The PS-30 seat had fallen vacant following the death of PPP lawmaker Naeem Khuhro.
