Mobile Phone and Internet Services Restored in Quetta, Several Areas of Balochistan

QUETTA: Mobile phone and internet services have been restored in Quetta and several other areas of Balochistan after being suspended for security reasons.

According to a BBC report, mobile internet services were restored in Quetta and several other parts of Balochistan on Tuesday afternoon. Mobile phone services had been suspended in Quetta and other areas of the province on Sunday due to security concerns.

Meanwhile, the Jaffar Express train service between Quetta and other cities of Pakistan remained suspended on Tuesday due to security reasons.

Security arrangements have also been tightened in several cities across Balochistan. Banks in some areas have reportedly remained closed because of security concerns.

The suspension of mobile phone and internet services had caused inconvenience and difficulties for residents and users across the affected areas.

Authorities have gradually begun restoring communication services as the security situation improves.
