15 Militants Killed in Intelligence-Based Operations Across Eight Balochistan Districts: Security Sources

QUETTA: Security forces have killed 15 militants in intelligence-based operations conducted across eight districts of Balochistan, according to security sources.

The joint operations were carried out in areas of Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Nushki, the sources said.

According to security officials, the operations dealt a significant blow to militant networks, while a large quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the militants’ hideouts.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the security forces for the successful operations and paid tribute to the personnel involved.

Naqvi said the killing of 15 militants had foiled the “nefarious designs” of what he referred to as “Fitna al-Hindustan” and “Fitna al-Khawarij.”

He said security forces were a source of pride for the nation and reaffirmed the government’s resolve to eliminate all terrorist elements from Balochistan.
