Quetta (Daily Qudrat): Former Senator and Federal Minister Nawabzada Mir Israrullah Khan Zehri, head of the Balochistan National Party (Awami), held a detailed meeting with the party’s Senior Vice President Takri Nazar Muhammad Mengal at his residence in Karachi.
The discussion focused on organizational matters, the evolving political dynamics of the region, and the economic and social challenges facing Balochistan. Leaders expressed concern over border closures, rising unemployment, and the negative impact of current government policies on traders, students, and laborers. They criticized the federal government for lacking seriousness, competence, and clear policy direction in addressing public issues, which they said directly harms ordinary citizens in the province.
The meeting also reviewed BNP (Awami)’s organizational structure, coordination among party workers, and district- and tehsil-level activities. Both leaders emphasized the need for stronger performance in party departments, enhanced worker training, and adherence to the party’s constitution and manifesto to make organizational affairs more effective.
Mir Israrullah Khan Zehri underscored that the party’s strength lies in its principles and structured organization. He reaffirmed BNP (Awami)’s commitment to defending public rights, provincial resource control, democratic and constitutional struggles, and parliamentary supremacy in accordance with the party’s traditions.
Both leaders concluded that effective representation of public issues and strengthened party organization will be key to the party’s political influence in upcoming electoral and legislative phases.
