Viral Video Claims Pakistan Cricketer Hasan Ali Was Assaulted in Delhi, but Authenticity Remains Unverified

Lahore: A viral video circulating on social media has sparked widespread discussion after claiming that Pakistan fast bowler Hasan Ali was assaulted while traveling on a train in New Delhi, India. However, the authenticity of the video and the identity of the individual shown have not been independently verified.
The footage has been shared online with claims that Hasan Ali, who was allegedly visiting his in-laws in India, was mistreated and beaten during the journey. The claims have prompted strong reactions from social media users, with many calling for clarification.
Pakistani television anchor Kiran Naz questioned the authenticity of the video, stating that the person seen in the footage does not appear to be Hasan Ali. She suggested that the background audio indicates police may have been responding to a person who had entered a women’s compartment, rather than an incident involving the cricketer.
Kiran Naz also questioned the plausibility of the claim, noting that Hasan Ali is a well-known international cricketer and arguing that it would be unusual for him to travel under the circumstances described in the viral posts.
As of now, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not issued any official statement regarding the video, and no independent evidence has confirmed that Hasan Ali was involved in the incident.
Hasan Ali is married to Samia Arzoo, an Indian national. The couple married in Dubai in 2019.
At present, the claims circulating on social media remain unverified, and the circumstances surrounding the viral video have not been officially confirmed.
