Peshawar: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has announced the cancellation of its rally originally set for November 8 in Peshawar. Party sources confirm that the event will now take place in Swabi instead.
According to media reports, the PTI rally will feature a tent village for party workers, with plans for public participation from across the country. However, the final date for the tent village has yet to be determined due to a concurrent religious gathering in the area. The PTI will set up the tent village immediately after the conclusion of the gathering.
Party officials indicated that the specific date for the Swabi tent village will be announced soon, but it has been decided to establish it only after November 10.
It is noteworthy that Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur had previously announced a significant rally for November 8 in Peshawar, aimed at calling for the release of former Prime Minister Imran Khan. In his statement, Gandapur had emphasized that the movement for Khan’s release would not waver, despite challenges.
