Balochistan CM Chairs High-Level Security Meeting, Orders Operations Against Militants to Continue Until Completion

Quetta/Ziarat: Mir Sarfraz Bugti chaired a high-level meeting to review the Mangi Dam incident and the overall law and order situation in Balochistan, directing security agencies to continue ongoing counterterrorism operations until their objectives are fully achieved.
The meeting was attended by Provincial Home Minister Mir Zia Langove, members of the provincial assembly, Inspector General of Police Muhammad Tahir Khan, and senior civil and security officials.
During the meeting, IG Police Muhammad Tahir Khan gave a detailed briefing on the Mangi Dam incident, the ongoing security operation against militants, and the overall security situation in the province. He also updated participants on intelligence-based operations and the progress made by law enforcement agencies.
Addressing the meeting, Chief Minister Bugti instructed authorities to take the ongoing operation against militants to its logical conclusion and ensure that no militant or facilitator escapes the reach of the law.
The chief minister added that the government would continue taking action against militants referred to by the government as “Fitna al-Khawarij” and “Fitna al-Hindustan,” as well as their alleged facilitators, in accordance with the law.
Bugti emphasized that the writ of the state would be enforced throughout Balochistan and directed officials to further strengthen coordination and accelerate operations against anti-state elements to prevent militant groups from regrouping.
He reaffirmed that there would be no compromise on peace in Balochistan and that counterterrorism operations would continue until terrorism is completely eliminated.
Paying tribute to the sacrifices of the Balochistan Police, the Levies Force, the Frontier Corps, and other security agencies, the chief minister described their contributions as a valuable national asset.
He also directed the relevant authorities to utilize all available resources to maintain law and order, protect the lives and property of citizens, and strengthen public confidence through effective security measures.
