Two Brothers Die After Falling Into Water Well in Toba Achakzai

Toba Achakzai: Two brothers tragically lost their lives after falling into a water well in Toba Achakzai, according to initial reports.

Authorities said the younger brother was reportedly suffering from sleepwalking (somnambulism). On Tuesday night, he is believed to have walked out of his house while asleep and accidentally fallen into an open well located in front of the family’s home.

Hearing his younger brother’s cries for help, the elder brother immediately rushed to the scene and jumped into the well in an attempt to rescue him.

However, due to the depth of the well and the high water level, both brothers were unable to climb out and drowned.

Local residents and rescue workers later recovered the bodies from the well.

The incident has cast a pall of grief over the area. Authorities are expected to investigate the circumstances surrounding the tragedy, while residents have urged greater safety measures, including covering or securing open wells to prevent similar accidents.
