Crackdown on Smuggling Launched in Kalat, Ban Imposed on Iranian Oil

Kalat:The district administration of Kalat has launched a crackdown against smuggling under the Petroleum Act and imposed a complete ban on the illegal transportation and sale of foreign goods, including Iranian oil.
According to an official notification issued by the district administration, strict action will be taken against smugglers involved in the illegal trade. Deputy Commissioner Kalat has issued directives to the Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue), Assistant Commissioner Kalat, and Assistant Commissioner Khaliqabad Mangchar to ensure effective implementation of the ban.
As per the orders, vehicles used for the transportation of Iranian oil will be seized, and cases will be registered against their owners. Additionally, petrol pumps found involved in the sale of smuggled fuel will be sealed, and the illegal stock will be confiscated.
The district administration has made it clear that there will be zero tolerance for smuggling activities and that strict legal action will be taken against violators to curb illegal fuel trade in the district.
